Electric NT Pty will strive to achieve the highest standard of health and safety through the continuous improvement of its OH&S performance. We have daily start up Safety Meeting, Occupational Health and Safety procedures and policies, We are continually implementing new procedures and policies to ensure not only our employee safety but also for public safety; we proactively research ways to reduce the risk of injury/incident such as;
- Inductions to all safety equipment.
- We hold Daily Start up meetings.
- All staff who have completed their three month probationary period hold a first aid certificate.
- We have recently purchased a Deliberator for on-site work.
- All Electric NT vehicles have a well maintained first aid kit.
- All Electric NT vehicles have a maintained fire extinguisher.
- We have purchased a Tensabarrier kit and signs to ensure the safety of Electric NT employees and members of the public.
- LV Rescue Kit.
Our high commitment to our employee’s safety includes purchasing all PPE items of clothing and safety equipment/items for our employees including;
- Electrical safety work boots, which reduces the risk of electric shock.
- Reflective High vis long work cool work pants.
- High Vis Work cool work shirts.
- Safety vests.
- Electrolyte drinks to reduce risk of dehydration.

In consultation with SRT (Safety Risk Training), Electric NT’s Safety Policy and Procedures are under review, we are in the process of implementing new safety systems.
Insurance
We hold all the appropriate insurance and worker’s compensation insurance for an Electrical Contracting Company.

Hard copies of all documents will be filed individually marked clearly and concisely with the following information;
- Job Number
- Job Name
- Client
- Date of Commencement
- Date of Completion
- Quotes
- Invoices
- Tenders
- Drawings
- Incoming Correspondence
- Outgoing Correspondence
- Faxes
- Technical Information
- Photos
- Other Job related information
Within each hard copy file will be contact details of the client and any other contractors who have helped complete the job. The files will all be filed utilising a standard system ensuring quality assurance. Documents / drawings / financial information will be easily found for forwarding onto clients and other interested parties.
All emails will be filed under a job number for easy identification and action. The computer files and email system will be backed up on a daily basis to ensure no company records are lost from computer malfunction.
